Fahad's journey on the Qarib Qarib Singlle starts on a bus, where he meets with his childhood friend, Laila. They are soon joined by their respective partners, Hira and Aliya. The six of them decide to make a movie about their lives as friends. One day, Aliya bumps into Fahad on the bus and it leads to her becoming very close with him. He talks to her more often than before but still tries his best not to fall in love with her because of his problems with Hira.
